The Long and Miskwabi chain is approximately 7 kilometers in length, with a maximum depth of approximately 140 feet. It is renowned for its clear waters -- great for boating, swimming and trout fishing.
It is located approximately 20 minutes' drive east of Haliburton village, and approximately 2 hours 45 minutes from Toronto.
Haliburton village offers shopping and services including two major grocery stores, restaurants, hardware and lumber stores, and a modern hospital with 24-hour emergency room.
There is also an active arts community, and Sir Sandford Fleming College operates a year round School of the Arts on its new Haliburton campus.
